This is my second time in this restaurant and I loved it again! The fried chicken is really good, the drinks have a beautiful presentation and are super delicious. The cornbread was to DIE for and the mac and cheese...WOW! Fireworks in my mouth! Also, the service was amazing!!!! Overall, 5 stars!

We would drive half way around the world for their fried chicken, shrimp poor boy and delicious side dishes

I guarantee you won't leave here hungry! If you're looking for some real southern cooking check this place out! Fried Chicken, sweet potato casserole, mac and cheese, you can't go wrong. If you plan on going be ready for a bit of a wait. It's worth it though. I'll definately go back next time I'm in town!

I love this place! It always has an upbeat atmosphere, the staff is friendly, and service is fast. The fried chicken and spicy honey is phenomenal. Also tried the Mac and cheese it was delicious. Reasonably priced as well.

I love this place in theory, but the chicken JJust isn't all that. The food is good but nothing I would go out of my way for. Honestly the best thing is the blackberry jam that comes with the biscuits and the fries. Our server today was wonderfully nice and efficient enough. They have a decent beer selection too with plenty of locals. We didn't have to wait which is a bonus. Go if there isn't a crazy wait, get the fries and biscuits and enjoy.

Typically don’t like fried chicken, but the fried chicken here was the best I’ve ever had! Mac and cheese was so hot and fresh when it came out, all around amazing experience and great food! Will definitely be back.

First time at The Eagle OTR this weekend and I will be back...very soon! Food was top notch. I had the BLT. If you love a BLT sandwich - they take it up a notch and add a crispy piece of chicken. The portions are solid. My wife got the braised pork sandwich. It was good but when we ate the left overs she put BBQ sauce and it and it was even better so ask for BBQ sauce. Mac and Cheese is good. Hush puppies are GREAT! Grits are GREAT! Greens are solid. They are jalapeno crazy with everything but I love the heat. Drink prices are more than reasonable which was a huge plus. Already planning my next visit.

LOVED IT! The wait wasn't too bad for as busy as they were. The food was all delicious. We had the half chicken entree and chicken sandwich. I highly recommend the mac and cheese and spoon bread (corn bread). Great southern comfort food and a new favorite place to eat. Will definitely be back!

The chicken was incredible, definitely lived up to the hype. We had to wait over two hours to get a table for a party of six. The first hostess was incredibly rude and told us an hour and a half wait. We returned a second time after being delayed, and the second hostess was much nicer.

Unreal chicken. I got the 1/4 dark meat and the cornbread. Both were great. I don’t know what seasoning they put in that breading, but it was peppery and salty at just the right ratio. The breading was crispy and crunchy. I wish it would’ve held onto the meat better, but I got dark meat and I’m assuming the juiciness was to blame, you can’t have both. The cornbread would be a great sharer but don’t worry, I took one for the team and ate the whole thing. The prices were pretty on par with market and the whole place was bumping - almost an hour wait if I didn’t sit at the bar. I’d recommend going off hours. Overall though, really good service, my guy at the bar looked like Drake if Drake was yoked and great food.

Came here for the great fried chicken and we were not disappointed. This is the best I have had, period. The sides were also outstanding! If you like a spicy Bloody Mary the Eagle is hard to beat.

One of my favorite places to go when I'm in Cincinnati. I usually get the chicken sandwich but decided to get the fried chicken this time. Just by itself the chicken is amazing. Tender, juicy and an amazing crust with a touch of spiciness. Service as always was top-notch. Expect a wait at peak times but they page you when your table is ready and there is so much right around The Eagle the wait goes by quickly.

I believe that when you go to a restaurant you should prepare for a more exceptional dining experience then what I can cook in my own home, and this is far from that. The staff was very attentive to my nut allergy, but they were not aware that I was calling them for more water. Otherwise the fried chicken has a little bit of a flowery flavor but a good texture and very tender chicken.

No, contrary to their name no eagles are served up at this establishment just the finest of fried chicken! The server was quite proud of their cooking process: delicious ingredients, brining to salty perfection, and delightfully pressure cooked. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich which comes topped with coleslaw and mayo on a quite rustic bread.One word: YUM. Highly highly ordering the crispy fries so you can experience aioli dipping sauce of a life time!

Accidented our satin here and LOVED it! I’m from the south and we boast about fried chicken. This is some of the best fried chicken I’ve had. I can’t wait to go back. It was PACKED when we went and while we were waiting for our table (estimated to be an hour wait) a place at the bar opened. The bar staff was super friendly and offered advice on the menu. We got a half chicken for 2 starving people, the summer salad, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. The Mac and cheese was pretty good and the salad was great. The potatoes were average. I want to go back and try the sweet potatoes! The sides are served family style in small cast iron skillets. Also, don’t forget to try the Tabasco honey with the chicken!!! I’d recommend a reservation.

Amazzzzzing place! Great atmosphere, great service and the food was THE BEST...we were a group of 6 and had a variety of items from the menu. We all left raving about the food. Definitely will be going back!!!

Great food. Competent service. Family style seating so can have others join you at your table. Food was good. Lots of beer selection. Great location only a short walk from the convention center area and hotels.

Amazing chicken. Good energy and the staff were great. Helped us out for our first time there. Also the sides were great for us to share.

This place was awesome.. the food was amazing and I’m shocked that I had never been before. Even though I was visiting , my fam lives here and yet I still didn’t know about this spot. I also have to mention the service . Talk about 5 star. I wish I remembered his name but he was a Beast! Made my first time so memorable that this def became a favorite. Thanks for everything!

Amazing fried chicken! Reminded me so much of mom's long ago. Mashed potatoes were yummy! Shared a table with a friendly couple. What fun. Great service.

Awesome place, love the free range chicken! The 1/4 chicken with the hush puppies and a side of Mac and cheese were delicious! Highly recommend! Our server was also great and the spicy honey sauce also a hit! A must while I'm Cincinnati!

Great fried chicken and sides. The brined chicken has just the right amount of flavor combined with a crispy outside. We highly recommend the kale salad as a great side item. You should expect a wait on most evenings, even after a few years they continue to be one of the favorites in OTR. The line typically moves pretty fast.

Best hot chicken I’ve ever had. Very crowded, reserve a table. Communal seating available for a shorter wait time. Wait staff was super nice.

Get the fried chicken, cornbread and mac and cheese. Best mac and cheese in Cincinnati. Great beer selection too. All for a good price. Chill atmosphere good for an afternoon outing with friends. Don't hesitate to go here or recommend this place to friends!

I always feel like I’m going to burst after eating here. The food is so good I can’t stop eating. They just nailed it.

The food is delicious! Waiting time was an hr.long but it was well worth it. Food came fast and hot. We had a group of 10 and ordered their family style dinner. The chicken and honey is soooooo good! We had collard greens,mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, kale salad and cornbread. Everything was fantastic! Definitely will return.

Typically a pretty good experience here. Most times pretty busy, but that's to be expected. The bloody Mary here is the best! If your coming here I'd assume you want chicken.. no matter how you get it, you wont be disappointed. Sweet potato crock, and mac and cheese are the best sides.

I think I had bigger expectations because everyone always speaks so highly of this place. It wasn't bad, just not what I expected. I did not realize their menu is very limited to Fried Chicken( that i think is microwave heated)but I did like the atmosphere and the staff was friendly

Absolutely delicious fare with a southern comfort and soul food vibe! You must have the bloody mary and definitely the fried chicken drizzled in a spicy honey sauce. Love this place!

Food was very good. Staff was overwhelmed but friendly. I would definitely eat here again.

Food is great, sadly I placed an order with door dash & the eagle gave our order to someone else. When the door dash person came to pick it up & found out it had been taken by someone else the restaurant refused to make the order again. After waiting over an hour for the delivery I now have to figure out something else for dinner. I won’t be using door dash or returning to the eagle again.

The location is small, however it offers a cozy intimate feel. My server Ryan was was one of the best servers I’ve ever had in my life, he was so professional and has such a cool personality, he made my first experience here so pleasant. The fried chicken was so delicious, the honey hot sauce enhanced the flavor so much. My favorite dish was my appetizer which was a kale, sausage cheese dip, this dip was soooooo good

The place is a bit over hyped. The place has a really fun atmosphere and it's different than everything else in the area, but the food was just good. It wasn't great. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there again, but it has dependable service and quality. I know I wouldn't get anything there i'd dislike, but nothing Id recommend over anything else either.

The food here was absolutely delicious. Fried chicken BLT was so good and filling. Highly recommend the mac and cheese as well. Service was awesome. Be prepared to wait, though. They text you when a table is ready so you can wander around and check out shops. I can't stress enough how delicious the fried chicken here is. You won't be disappointed.

The. Best. Fried. Chicken. You. Will. Have. In. Your. Life. Absolutely delicious chicken served with hot honey (recommended by the waitress to dip, not drizzle). The chicken is prepared and delivered to the table fast upon ordering, and the flavor and spice level of the chicken is perfection. 🍗 🍗 🍗 🍗 🍗 I didn’t even look at the menu; I came here with a colleague (local) who knew exactly what to order and it was on point. We had the whole chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and award winning Mac and Cheese - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great fried chicken - not too oily and a nice crispy batter that isn't too thick. Great mac & cheese, good flavours and didn't feel too heavy. The seeet tea has apparently changed recipe and the waitress gave me a sample because some people haven't liked it, but loved it - tasted a bit like bubble tea. The waitress was very attentive and gave good info about the menu.

Amazing food! The fried chicken is the absolute best. Great variety of beers on tap to accompany the meal. With the location, the wait can be long, but it is worth it. Plenty of options to grab a drink while waiting for your table

No wait to get seated (7 pm on a Thurs). Good service. Fair to good draft list. The food was so yummy! Do not pass up the jalapeno cheese grits!!

Beer and spoonbread is all you need, but don't leave without the delicious fried chicken (yes, it does taste different when it is sustainably raised) and the incredible kale salad (kale done right!) Just a note to The Eagle: Music should only be loud if it's live and acoustic. It will still be a party if people can talk and hear each other

Stopped in The Eagle last night after seeing a play at the Ensemble Theater. I enjoyed a Southern Chopped Salad which had mixed greens, green beans, corn, black eyed peas, bacon and pecans. I asked for the peach vinaigrette dressing as I don't like ranch. The salad was AMAZING! I can't wait to go back. My boyfriend got the fried chicken which he really enjoyed. We shared 2 side dishes - macaroni n cheese and the spoon bread. Both were wonderful.

Good southern food and decent beer selection. Extremely busy on Friday/Weekend evenings. Restaurant could use a larger dining area.

Make sure you go early! Really good food! Excellent service! Fried chicken is on point! I think we caught their Mac n cheese on an off night, but it's not enough to drop a star. Server gladly removed it from our bill. Definitely returning!

I'm seriously about to quit my career job and throw away everything I work hard for, for this chicken. This is like the krabby patty secret formula on crack! Hands down the best food I ever tasted!!!!!!!!!!!! They should have some type of loyalty program, we come so much it would be nice if there was a way to get points to earn free food!

If you want delicious chicken and other southern foods with a kick of spice and buckets of flavor. Go to The Eagle. Generally the place is packed, but you can shop apparel and home stores in the same area during the wait.

Always love this place! Unique combination of fried chicken and spicy hot honey is truly delicious. Wow. Not to mention you can get brown sugar bacon... and you’ll always get great service.

Spent a night on our way to Nashville and loved it. On the way home we made another stop and it was just as amazing. Best chicken of the entire trip. The hot honey is so good and the spoon bread, yum! One of my favorite meals of all!
